Intelligence, on the other hand, is something more, well, intelligent. It is the collection and receipt of information, assessing it for reliability and provenance, identifying gaps, obtaining and analysing the additional information. We assign a value to these assessments either by a letter or a number. Either way, we evaluate each piece of information on its own.
