The New Orleans soccer club is a high value, low cost, planned USL expansion club project destined for the population of 400,000 in New Orleans. The state of Louisiana has a total of 5 million people, currently without access to an official representing professional soccer team.
Within the state of Louisiana, approximately 25% of the population is represented by the largest American community, the football mad Honduran people. This group have already shown support for local soccer and are a huge target market for the new owner of the New Orleans professional club.
With the World Cup hosted by the USA in 2026, New Orleans current Mayor, LaToya Cantrell encourages the growth of soccer in this area and is planning to assist with the development and renovations of the Shrine on Airline stadium located in the New Orleans suburb, Metairie.
In order to support stadium renovations for the project, Mayor Cantrell will plan to partner with local businesses and organisations and also contribute towards the project with local government budgets.
The new club founders will acquire a USL expansion franchise and maximise opportunities with local commercial partners.
With a proven appetite for sport, the people of New Orleans have everything but soccer. Cross sport partnership deals are also recommended with the NFL New Orleans Saints and the NBA team, the New Orleans Pelicans. These partnerships will also enhance club commercial revenues.
